STEVEN KAPES: Principal Rep and Founder. I have a deep appreciation for the running industry and community. What started as an outlet to get out of a stressed home turned into a whole new life trajectory. Running collegiate cross country and track programs of the Ashland Eagles and Walsh Cavaliers. Years managing and buying for run specialty stores like Second Sole and Fleet Feet Wooster. Sales for Peloton and so much more. Stoked to be driving these amazing brands in the Midwest and beyond.
BEN KINLEY
BEN KINLEY: has been involved in running for 20 years as an athlete, coach, and now on the brand and retail side. After running collegiately at a small D2 school he began coaching while serving in the US Air Force, eventually coaching at several small colleges and working with individual athletes. After some time away from the sport, working in the healthcare staffing industry, he's returned to the running space as a race director, coach, and now as a rep for GRVL Agency. You can find him at J&H Running in Lexington, Kentucky, at any of the brewery run clubs around town, or on the trails in the Red River Gorge.
JEREMY POPE
JEREMY POPE: Joining GRVL in late 2025, Jeremy brings years of running specialty experience and a deep connection to the sport. A lifelong runner and ultrarunner, he’s happiest deep in the woods, chasing long days, big miles and has built a career around the products that make those pursuits possible. At GRVL, Jeremy is focused on growing brands, opening doors, and pushing the agency forward throughout the Midwest.
